TWO RAIN CHANCES FOR THURSDAY AND NEXT MONDAY… OTHERWISE, MOSTLY PLEASANT WEATHER WITH NO BIG WARM-UPS OR MUGGY PERIODS THROUGH NEXT TUESDAY...

Good morning folks, yesterday was a gloriously beautiful day and today looks like another winner in this grand cosmic display most of us get to visually witness for a comparatively short period of time on this planet as we sail through the Cosmos – what a gift it truly is. And guess what? We even get another sweet day tomorrow as well, despite a few showers possible in the afternoon.

For today, highs will fill out into the 70s under sunny skies with a light west wind with lows in the low to mid 50s under clear skies.

For Wednesday, another mostly sunny day arrives with highs reaching the 75-80º range with southerly flow developing. This may cause a few instability showers to form by later in the afternoon, but they should be widely scattered. Clouds will build at night with lows in the low to mid 50s.

By the time we wake up Thursday morning, we should be seeing periods of showers rotate through the region as a warm front, pre-frontal zone and eventual cold front all have to work from west to east through the region as a strong low pressure system passes to our north.

Highs Thursday will hang in the 70s to low 80s with an increase in humidity, followed by lows in the mid 50s to low 60s as showers end before midnight.

High pressure will build into the region with broad upper troughing in southeast Canada providing a seasonable, westerly flow that will bring more sunshine, dry weather, and highs roughly in the 75-80º range Friday through Sunday with plenty of sunshine, so Green River Festival is looking well-supported weather-wise. Lows will be in the 50s at night.

Next Monday is our next rain chance, but that will require a storm track to hug the southern New England coast and that is 7 days away so I will update you as we get closer.

Thanks for reading, and have a great day!
