FAIR WEATHER THRU OUR WEEKEND WITH SEASONABLY WARM TEMPS AND LOWER HUMIDITY THROUGH ABOUT MONDAY… A FEW SHOWERS POSSIBLE MONDAY EVE, BUT NEXT TUESDAY IS OUR NEXT REAL RAIN CHANCE
Good morning folks, we’ve finally cleared our humid, stormy, showery period that was caused in part due to our nearby upper level northeast trough which is now lifting northeast and away from the New England region as we move into the end of our work week. With surface high pressure building in from the southern Great Lakes, this can only mean one thing: sunshine, and an abundance of it!
Temperatures will also fall right in line with seasonable averages with no heat waves in sight, and comfortable humidity will continue to empty into and through our hills dales as today/Thursday develops.
We bottomed out into the upper 40s and 50s across the region, and we’ll now see high temps rebound into the mid 70s to low 80s as humidity continues to decrease, under plenty of sunshine – a perfect summer day, really.
Lows will dip into the upper 40s to mid 50s under mostly clear skies, and then we’ll saunter right into a lovely Friday and weekend with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s, lows in the 55-60º range, all with plenty of sunshine and lower humidity.
It’s an unbeatable 4-day sweet summer stretch of weather, so be sure to enjoy it – and no real smoke issues that I can see! Bonus!
By Monday, we’ll see similar temps to the weekend, and we’ll also see high pressure building into the south of New England as another upper trough starts tracking east along the Canadian border, moving east of the Great Lakes.
This sets us up for a few showers by Monday afternoon, but more impactfully will help develop a surface low that may move through northern New England, producing substantial rainfall into our region by Tuesday into Wednesday.
I will keep you updated on that meteorological potential, but for now, enjoy our star and seasonable summah warmth!
Have a great day!
