HUMIDITY CONTINUES TO SLOWLY RISE INTO THURSDAY AFTERNOON… SHOWERS ARRIVE BY MID TO LATE AFTERNOON, ENDING BY MIDNIGHT… STEADIEST NORTH OF THE PIKE…

Good afternoon folks, I just wanted to poke my balding head in here to say that it’s humid and I’m not happy about it! Furthermore, this humidity is going to increase by tomorrow afternoon with dewpoints in the mid to upper 60s after a moist night with lows only dipping to either side of the 60º mark with patchy fog possible late, yippee!

As far as Thursday morning is concerned, I don’t see any real shower activity moving in that time, though a stray one can’t be ruled out.

Rather, it’s the afternoon, and especially by mid to late afternoon when humidity really peaks as this southwesterly surge of moisture overspreads the region that we’re likely going to see scattered showers move into the region from west to east, and a few cells may be on the heavier side.

I’d say the main showery timeframe is 4pm to Midnight on Thursday with the steadiest rains or heaviest cells tracking north of the Pike (and possibly along and north of the Rt. 2 corridor in northern MA, SVT and SWNH).

Highs Thursday will reach the upper 60s to upper 70s with lows in the mid to upper 50s as rain ends, and we begin to dry out heading into Friday.

I will update you fully on Thursday morning, and hope you have a great night!
