YELLOW-WHITE ORB ALERT: 100% CHANCE OF WEATHER AWESOMENESS TODAY… BREEZIER, MILDER, AND MORE SUN WEDNESDAY… LIGHT SCATTERED SHOWERS OVERNIGHT INTO THURSDAY, WITH STEADIER RAINFALL
Good morning folks, watch for black ice early in any areas where we got snow or mix overnight, but the bottom line is that we have a 100% chance of an awesome weather day with sunshine, highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s, and calm conditions – hooray!
We’ve got incoming high pressure centered over western PA and that will rule our roost through Wednesday, so a sweet pair of days lie ahead.
Clouds will increase a bit tonight, but it will be dry and lows will dip into the 20s to low 30s once again.
For Wednesday, expect a milder, partly sunny day with highs in the mid 40s to low 50s with some breezy southwest winds gusting up to 20mph or so, followed by increasing clouds at night as a warm front approaches the region.
We’ll see some scattered showers Wednesday night but they should amount to very little, though some snow may mix in over the southern Greens in VT with lows in the 30s.
On Thursday, we’ll be between our already-passed warm front, and an incoming cold front for Thursday night into Friday morning.
This means that we’ll be in the “warm sector” with highs in the mid 50s to low 60s and a few isolated showers at times, prior to steadier rainfall moving in for Thursday night. Lows will be in the 40s Thursday night and rainfall will likely last into the early to mid-morning on Friday before our cold front sweeps everything out to sea.
Behind that front, northwest winds will gust 20-30mph at times with temps falling slowly in the afternoon, creating a blustery, colder feel with afternoon sunshine developing.
Temps will crash quite a bit through Friday night, ending up in the teens to low 20s by very early Saturday morning.
The weekend through Monday looks lovely with plenty of sunshine and increasing temps from highs in the 30s Saturday, to the 40s Sunday, and into the low 50s by Monday.
This means that out of the next 7 days, 5 of them should feature fair weather and essentially no snow with just one very cold night.
In other words, we’re moving in the right direction in the Weather Department!
Have a great day!
