FAIR WEATHER TODAY AND TOMORROW WITH SOME SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THURSDAY EVENING AND NIGHT INTO EARLY FRIDAY MORNING… ADDITIONAL FRIDAY PM SHOWER/STORMS POSSIBLE, NICE WEEKEND

Good morning folks, thanks for all of the amazing sunset pics yesterday! After that much-needed drink of sky water we received, I am not seeing much in the way of wet weather on the way for our region, except for Thursday night into Friday as a mid-level wave moves through with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise, we’ve got plenty of seasonable, fair early summer weather on the way.

For today, expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s with a light northwest wind and comfortable humidity. Lows will dip into the low to mid 50s which will foster comfortable sleeping conditions.

On Thursday, I also expect mostly sunny skies with similar high temps, but clouds will build late in the afternoon and into the evening as a warm front approaches the region, connected to a Great Lakes system that will track north of us through the start of the weekend.

By Thursday evening we will see more clouds building into the region, and we should see scattered showers with a thunderstorm possible moving in overnight into Friday morning. Severe weather is not expected, and lows will drop to either side of 60º.

Any Friday morning shower activity should keep tracking east and out of our region, leaving us with a partly sunny to mostly cloudy day with some afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible ahead of an incoming cold front. Highs will reach to either side of 80º with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.

The weekend looks largely lovely (“Largely Lovely” will *not* be the title of my new book, in case you were wondering), though a few showers may linger on Saturday.

Expect partly sunny skies on average for Saturday with highs reaching to either side of 80º and lows near 60º, followed by the weekend pick for Sunday with highs in the low to mid 80s under sunny skies.

Warm, fair and dry weather looks to continue into early next week with temps similar to Sunday’s expected readings, so those plants and that veg will need some human assistance.

Thanks for reading, and have a great day!
