Dave's Daily Report

August 20, 2026

7:10 am

PERIODS OF RAINFALL THURSDAY AFTERNOON INTO EVENING, DRIER FRIDAY, THEN MORE RAIN SATURDAY WHICH LOOKS WETTER THAN SUNDAY, WHICH MAY ALSO FEATURE A FEW SHOWERS EARLY

Good morning everybody, I know I said I wouldn’t post for several days, but the forecast changed so I wanted to post a quick update to let you know that while this morning will be partly to mostly sunny and dry, clouds will build by afternoon as a system tracks northeast out of PA and into New England.

Highs will be in the 70s to low 80s today with showers moving in by mid to late afternoon, clearing out of here by sometime around midnight, with lows in the 50s.

Friday looks mostly dry with a spot shower east of the I-91 corridor and highs in the mid 70s to low 80s, with clouds increasing at night and lows dropping into the mid to upper 50s.

On Saturday, rainfall could start as early as the early-to-mid morning daylight hours and last into the afternoon, with a couple of waves of showers.

It does not look like a great day for outdoor activities that require dry conditions, the way it looks now, and temps will be cooler, only reaching the upper 60s to mid 70s for highs.

We may dry out for a bit on Sunday morning, but more scattered showers or even a thunderstorm are possible by the afternoon and evening before we clear out into what looks like a lower humidity, drier, and sunnier start to the following work week for that Monday to Wednesday period with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s.

No report tomorrow / Friday, but I will try to poke my head in on Saturday, have a great rest of your day, Dave.
