HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS EAST PROMOTING SUNSHINE THRU SATURDAY AND A COOL FRIDAY NIGHT… SCATTERED SHOWERS & STORMS SUNDAY MORNING INTO EARLY AFTERNOON, HUMID… MORE FAIR WEATHER BY MON.

Good morning everybody, we’ve had a lovely sunrise early this morning and as high pressure tracks from the Ohio Valley east through New England through tomorrow, we’ll enjoy dry conditions, plenty of sunshine, and lower humidity through Saturday before we get some showers and even a few thunderstorms moving through the region during Sunday morning into early afternoon.

For today, plenty of sunshine will spray our hills and dales as high pressure continues to track east toward New England with high temps reaching into the mid 60s to mid 70s along with drier air and light wind as compared to yesterday.

As high pressure moves closer tonight, conditions will become more still and allow for optimized radiational cooling, which will drop our low temps into the mid 40s to low 50s overnight under mostly clear skies.

For Saturday, another high pressure day looks to visit upon us with highs in the upper 60s to upper 70s under sunny skies, with clouds increasing at night and lows in the mid 50s to low 60s as humidity starts to tick up with the approach of a warm frontal boundary.

After midnight, a cluster of showers with potential for a few thunderstorms and downpours will track northeast into our region, which should set us up for a showery Sunday morning.

Showers and any t-storms that do form should last through the morning and then wind down by sometime in the early-afternoon timeframe with humid conditions expected for Sunday, and high temps in the low to mid 70s with lows in the 50s.

Next week should feature plenty of sunshine between Monday and Wednesday with highs in the mid 60s to mid 70s Monday and Tuesday before pushing towards the low 80s on Wednesday, prior to a cold front moving through Thursday with scattered showers possible at that times.

Whatever warmth and humidity we can muster by mid-week will likely be flushed seaward with cooler temps by late week into next weekend, but I will update you as we get closer.

Have a great day!
