SNOW SQUALLS & SNOW SHOWERS ARE PUSHING INTO SOUTHWEST VT AND A FEW SQUALLS AND SNOW SHOWERS WILL TRACK EAST-SOUTHEAST THRU THE GREATER WMASS REGION EARLY TO MID AFTERNOON...
Good afternoon everybody, we’ve got a cold, partly sunny day underway, but lurking to our west is a line of snow showers and snow squall warnings which will first press into Bennington County VT and then move into the Berkshires early to mid afternoon.
Areas that get under a snow squall will see briefly heavy snow, with lowered visibility, and potential for a coating to an inch of snow to fall and cause changing road conditions.
Please be careful traveling on the roads today if you come across darkening skies and a steady or heavy snow showers or squall moves through.
By late afternoon and early evening, northwest winds will kick up and already gusting 25-40mph out in NY state, and that is coming our way, along with below-zero wind chill readings by tonight.
Please post any reports below in terms of any snow, wind, or dropping temps is concerned, and I will update later as warranted, thank you, Dave.
