[ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS IN BERKSHIRES AND WESTERN HILLTOWNS POSSIBLE EARLY THIS MORNING… PLEASE POST YOUR REPORTS BELOW IF YOU’RE UP… 5:20AM WEDNESDAY]
Good morning folks, we have a thin line of non-lightning convection that is working through the Berkshires. There is a velocity couplet on radar that is concerning, that may indicate damaging wind gusts near Peru and points north-northeast into westernmost Hampshire and Franklin Counties between 5:15am and 6am up into the southern Green Mountains, along the border of Bennington and Windham Counties.
Rain, heavy at times, with wind gusts 35-55mph are possible this morning, and possibly a bit higher in these convectively-driven downdrafts, again currently over the Berkshires and moving into the northwesternmost hilltowns. I will monitor and post again shortly… stay safe…
