Good morning everybody, it’s cold out there this morning! Well, it’s not THAT cold, but it sure feels like it compared to the past couple of months.
Temps are in the 20s with west winds still gusting 20-30mph in spots, and that will continue today, and then slacken by tonight.
Highs today will reach the upper 20s to mid 30s from high terrain to low, and some scattered coatings are possible this evening in the Berkshires, SVT, western hilltowns, the usual suspects.
Wind chills will dip into the teens to 20s for many today.
Lows tonight will drop into the upper teens as winds become light out of the west.
For Saturday, a final wave will swing through the region around the southern base of the stalled-but-then-departing low in eastern Canada that brought our rain nad snow yesterday.
This will produce more clouds than sunshine, and some snow showers or flurries scattered about the region. Highs will be cold, only in the mid 20s to near 30 degrees. Lows will dip into the teens as skies start to break.
For Sunday, high pressure builds east into the region, and will create a mostly sunny day, light winds, and highs in the upper 20s to mid 30s – a gorgeous day! Lows will be near 20 degrees.
By next week, high pressure now to the east will once again kick up a southerly flow, and warm us up well into the 40s to low 50s through much of the week with cloudy skies on Monday, but increasingly showery conditions Monday night right through Thursday, so enjoy this coming weekend, my friends!
