YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, we’ve got high pressure starting to establish itself more into our region with more bouts of high pressure either setting up to our south or moving overhead, which means more sunshine and warmer temps coming our way.
For today, high pressure will produce mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 50s to mid 60s with a light southerly wind to be followed by increasing clouds as a warm front lifts northeast toward New England.
This will produce a few isolated showers in northern MA, SVT and SWNH by early evening, but we’ll see more numerous (but still scattered) showers overnight into early Tuesday morning along with some patchy fog and lows in the 40s.
Early morning Tuesday clouds will give way to more sunshine with highs in the 60s to mid low 70s, with a few mid 70s readings in northern CT. Lows will dip to the upper 30s and 40s as a weak cold front moves through the region.
Sunshine should dominate with incoming high pressure to our west Wednesday over us Thursday and starting to depart on Friday.
This will produce highs in the upper 50s to upper 60s on Wednesday with highs cresting further into the mid 60s to mid 70s for Thursday and Friday with lows in the 40s to near 50º.
We’ll cloud back up Friday night with showers developing, and as of this writing, Saturday is looking like a pretty rainy day with a large frontal boundary sweeping the region from west to east.
Highs Saturday should hang lower, down in the 50s to low 60s, with a potential for similar highs on Sunday with more sunshine to close out the weekend.
All in all, this week’s weather conditions will continue to support leaves leafing-out, buds budding, flowers flowering, bumble bees buzzing, and life coming back to life, so that’s good news!
Have a great day!
