YOUR WEEKLY WEATHER NUTSHELL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
–Temps are cold this morning, starting in the upper 20s to low 30s, but will rebound nicely into the upper 50s to low 60s for highs under mostly sunny skies
–Wind will be the light out of the southwest
–Lows tonight will dip into the low to mid 30s with a few very light showers possible as a mid-level front works through
–Even warmer air moves in for a day on Thursday with highs well into the 60s, with upper 60s possible in the lower Pioneer Valley
–Clouds will build late as a disturbance heads east out of the Great Lakes and towards New England
–This should spread some rain showers, some on the heavier side, east and into the greater WMass region, especially north of the Pike for Thursday night into Friday
–Lows Thursday night will only drop to the low 40s with highs in the low 50s on Friday with clouds and showers around
–Showers should quit Friday night with lows in the mid to upper 30s
–Saturday is the pick of the weekend, but likely features more clouds than sun with highs in the low 50s
–Sunday looks to feature another wave of low pressure bringing more rain showers through the region with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s
–A cold front swings through Sunday night into early Monday and will introduce cooler temps and windier conditions early next week with highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s
–We can’t rule out some instability rain or mixed showers in the high terrain at that time
YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, we’ve entered a quieter weather period compared to our recent 3-storm spate of atmospheric inclemency, and the next two days will be our reward for enduring through said stormy period.
We do have a couple of showery periods (Thursday night into Friday, and Sunday into Sunday night), but those don’t look like washouts at this time, and temps will much milder except for perhaps early next week which looks cooler and a bit blustery prior to the Vernal Equinox which arrives next Tuesday, Mar 19th at 11:06 PM.
The Nutshell section above covers the details of our weather into next week, so I hope you have a great day, and if my work helps you through our stormy and sunny periods, please help keep it going throughout 2024 as it’s your support that keeps me on this job for you and yours (options include Cards, PayPal, Venmo, or Check, thank you!)

>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
