>>> MORNING DISCUSSION <<<
Good morning everybody, if you love late summer warmth, today is your day, and if you have stuff that needs doing outside this weekend, there is no question today is your day.

This weekend will truly be the tale of two seasons, with very sharp contrasts in weather conditions over the two-day period.

Today will feature plenty of sunshine, southwest breezes, a fairly humid air mass, and highs in the mid 70s to low 80s.

After a dry cold frontal passage tonight after which dewpoints will crash into the 40s as we dry the air, with lows in the 40s, tomorrow will feature plenty of clouds in the morning, northwest breezes, rainfall by the afternoon lasting all night into Monday morning, and highs only in the upper 40s!!

This will be quite a shock to the system, so you have been forewarned.

So, we’ve got a dry Sunday morning, then showers work in by late morning into afternoon as low pressure tracks east into and through the region Sunday night into Monday morning with continued rainfall (amounting anywhere from a quarter inch in northern CT up to half an inch to an inch in WMass/CMass and into SVT/SWNH).

Lows Sunday night hang in the low 40s with Monday highs in the upper 40s to low 50s, followed by lows in the low to mid 30s with patchy frost expected.

On Tuesday after sunny highs in the 40s, I’ll be watching to see if coastal low pressure will shake hands with incoming upper level energy to spin up a storm that could arrive Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and produce the first accumulating snowfall of the season for the high terrrain of the WMass region.

Cool and sunny weather looks to set up for late week and possibly lasting through next weekend, but for now I will be focused on our big cool down with rain Sunday/Monday, and then potential for snow and rain early Wednesday!

Have a great day!

>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
