Good morning folks, we’ve got another lovely day ahead which makes for 4 in a row! However, all good things (including our runny noses and pollen-related maladies) must come to an end with showers and thunderstorms moving in after midnight, followed by more showers’n’storms Thursday morning, sunshine Friday, and more rain over the weekend, but before we dive into all of the weather details below, let’s check a note from our local and delicious sponsor, #TandemBagelCo, with a new location in West Springfield, MA.

WEATHER REPORT
Good morning everybody, today we kick off Dave Hayes The Weather Nut’s Double Dash Emporium (with an easy to remember DHTWNDDE acronym because that’s the kind of guy I am), so in the spirit of what my Mom in her heavy EMass accent used to say when I’d acoustically slap and pop my electric bass down the hall in my bedroom, it’s time to start that clickin’ (and in this case, typin’)

–We begin our 4th consecutive fair weather day replete with infinite cosmic sun ray showers producing temps in the 50s with some low 60s already
–This bodes well for a pleasantly warm temperature spread reaching the upper 70s to low 80s across the region for highs, with perhaps some mid 70s in the higher peaks of SVT/SWNH, and even northwest MA
–Clouds will increase this afternoon as we have a system located over the Midwest that will track northeast towards Quebec and float a warm front towards our region
–Meanwhile, a stronger low level southerly jet will push in tonight, along with more humid air and plenty of moisture ahead of the front
–This will all combine to cloud us up this evening with a few isolated showers possible well ahead of the front before midnight, with lows dropping into the upper 50s to low 60s as humidity increases
–Then, showers with some thunderstorms will overspread the region and become more numerous after midnight and last into the early to mid daylight hours of Wednesday morning
–Some downpours are possible, and we may get woken up during the pre-dawn hours by some thunderclaps
–This will all sweep out of here by late morning to early afternoon with partly to mostly sunny skies developing and highs reaching the mid 70s to low 80s
–We do it all over again Wednesday night when a cold front approaches our region and we cloud back up with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s
–The arrival of Thursday morning showers with some embedded thunderstorms will be displaced forward a bit, arriving more around the dawn and lasting through the morning, and quitting by early afternoon
–Heavy rain is also possible as a storm develops along the front and runs right through southern or central New England
–Again, at least some partial sunshine is expected by Thursday afternoon with highs in the low to mid 70s due to a longer period of cloud cover during the daylight hours
–At least the next two days should help knock some pollen down, for cripes sake (as my Nana used to say)!
–Friday sees a brief period of high pressure press into the region (that’s what pressure does, you know, it presses *I’ll be here all week, tip your bartenders, try the eggplant parm special* But Dave that’s not really funny, said in Jim Gaffigan’s soft audience members’ mind voice)
–Highs will again reach the mid 70s to low 80s, with lows in the 50s
–We start off dry on Saturday, but may see a third rain maker arrive Saturday afternoon and last through the evening and night and into early Sunday with highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s all weekend
–In fact, if all of these storms hit we could end up with about 1-3″ of much-needed rainfall by end of the weekend
–Sunday does look like the pick of the weekend with a few showers and partly sunny skies, with fair weather to kick of next week with plenty of sunshine

I hope you have a great day!
