Good morning everybody, before I get to the weather, I wanted to let you know that I’ll be playing with the band King Radio as we perform as The Beach Boys in Transperformance 30 this year.

TRANSPERFORMANCE
“Transperformance” is an annual main fundraiser for the Northampton Arts Council, and this year due to Covid-19 we’ve had to pre-record most of the performances, and were not able to hold the live event which normally draws 1500-2000 concert-goers at the Pines Theatre in Look Park, Florence, MA.

I hope you’ll watch the performance tonight of my band King Radio and many of my musical friends as we perform between 5-9pm, and I’m also asking you to consider donating whatever small or large amount you can to help support he Arts Council this year.

If you’ve ever seen me play music or enjoyed the arts offerings in the City of Northampton, my friends at the Arts Council need your help more than ever, so please click the link below for more info about the event, then look for the “TICKETS” link, click on it, and then you can donate $5, $10, $25, $50+, or whatever works for you. Thank you!

WEATHER REPORT
For today, any morning showers in SVT/SWNH and clouds in our region will kick out to the east, and produce a lovely day with westerly breezes gusting over 20mph at times.

Highs will reach the mid 70s to low 80s, and mostly sunny skies are expected. As a cold pool of air works through the region later today and tonight, we can’t rule out an isolated shower, but just about all of us should remain dry.

Lows tonight will dip into the mid to upper 50s with breezy conditions continuing, otherwise we might drop into the upper 40s!

For Wednesday, high pressure starts to nudge in from the west. Mostly sunny skies are expected, along with some westerly wind gusts to 20mph. highs will reach the mid to upper 70s, and lows will dip into the upper 40s to low 50s and winds relax at night… chilly!

For Thursday, high pressure crests through the region, which will produce calm winds, mostly sunny skies, and highs in the 75-80º range. Lows will drop into the low to mid 50s.

As high pressure sweeps off the Mid-Atlantic coast to our south, a southwesterly flow sets up for a few days from Friday through Sunday or so, which will warm us up and allow dew points temps to rise into the 60s, which will make things a bit muggy.

On Friday and Saturday it will be mostly sunny and quite warm with highs in the low to mid 80s Friday and the mid to upper 80s on Saturday, with lows in the low to mid 60s both nights.

By Sunday, highs will again be in the mid to upper 80s but clouds should be increasing as a cold front approaches and so the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms increases later on Sunday and lasting into Monday before we cool it back down and dry it out into Tuesday and the upcoming week.

Have a great day, please check out Transperformance online later this evening, and please consider supporting the Northampton Arts Council with a gift within your means today, thank you!
