Good morning everybody, well, we’re beat up a little, but we made it through some truly severe weather over the last three days, and now we’re in the clear, for real.
The remnants of Arthur will still impact Nova Scotia today, and is still resulting in heavy showers this morning across extreme eastern MA, and the Cape and Islands, but this should depart over the next couple hours, and by noon, we should see rapid clearing down in those areas, as cooler Canadian high pressure builds into all of New England, collapsing dew points down into the 40s and 50s!
So we are going to have a beautiful, beautiful weekend to celebrate the holiday, have cookouts, parties, gatherings, etc. Mostly sunny weather with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s, and a wonderfully dry and cool night for sleeping tonight, with lows down into the low 50s.
Late next week looks to clear out again. Have a great weekend!
